Can I place a custom order?

Absolutely. Have a look at the information on commissions in our Policies or just drop me a message and we can start discussing ideas.

 

How did you learn to weave?

From the internet and a whole lot of trial and error!

How long does it take you to make a wall-hanging?

Even small pieces take the best part of a day and larger weavings can take several weeks. Each piece is a labour of love.

Where do you get your supplies from?

I try and support small independent businesses wherever I can. Etsy is a great starting point. Since relocating to France, I’m looking for European-based yarn makers so if you are one, please do get in touch.

How did you learn to throw on the wheel?

Back in the UK I took a pottery class once a week. From the first class I was hooked and quickly decided to take the plunge and buy myself a wheel so I practise more and hone my techniques. I've learnt a lot from watching potters on YouTube. However mainly I've learnt from just giving it a go and figuring out what techniques work best for me.

 

Do you offer lessons?

Not at the moment but this is something we hope to be able to do in future once the studio space is finished.
